Bondla WLS (Goa): I Got an opportunity to visit Goa in June 2014 at the peak of the monsoon season. My target was to sight the Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher (ODKF) in Bondla WLS. Although could not get to shoot the ODKF, the sighting of the White-Rumped Shama singing in the forest and some very satisfying shots of this bird will remain etched forever. Shama is one of the best singers in India and this was the first time I got to see it. If you ever go to Goa, do visit Bondla which is only 40 km from Panji. Being on the National highway it takes only an hour to reach there.
